SPACETIME- A WORD ABOUT SCIENCE…
Hemanth Anil (2013510036)

Since time immemorial, man has gazed upon the stars wondering for a perfect answer for the being of the universe. The flowing river, the release of energy from matter, and the occult has always brought an inquisitive mind to the great thinkers of our past. The laws of science and arithmetic have stood the test of time, proving its worth as key tools for a scientist. But do these laws and equations really exist, or is it just adjustable to mans’ will to make the universe comprehensible. We have been seeing just one side of science. The other side was neglected or forgotten, or maybe nobody thought it that way. But always think what if…

Science says that nature is obedient, obeying stringent laws and equations. Every phenomena and every moment in history can be inscribed in powerful mathematical expressions. All of them can be explained by basic scientific laws and relations. The world is science. There is nothing that excludes science. Science is the understanding of the universe through hypothesis, theory and mathematical proof. Math is the backbone of science. Science makes the universe comprehensible. But that is not always the case…

There have never been divisions in science. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Occult everything can be explained by the same principles and equations. In fact there exists a ‘singular equation’ of Space-time upon which all of this exists, one that explains how things work here on earth as well as far away from the Milky Way. Space and time are in fact not two separate entities but a single interwoven entity.

This theory unifies all aspects of science and all the phenomena that occur on earth. It seeks a true answer that can wholly explain everything right from the beginning of the cosmos to the end of everything, if such a thing might happen. It is a relativistic theory applicable to all branches of science and elsewhere. Expansion of the spacetime theory in the coming years might also allow predictions and unlock the unknown power of science, driving it to its full potential. Calculus is a mathematical approach of this theory.

I have always been curious since childhood. This helped me build a liking for science. Ever since that I have tried to explain things in my own way. I have worked with science all these years and have come to like the scent and sense of it. I shall never part from it. All of my life I will be devoted to the growth of science. “Science is my ever-time girlfriend, I shall not divorce.”

I acknowledge that all of the data contained in this scientific paper is my original work.

THE ENDLESS RIVER

Walk with me, the path of life,
to explore every bend of the road
Enjoy with me the beauty of life,
along its wonderful way

Find comfort with me, in each other's arms,
when grief crosses our path
Find strength with me, in each other's strength,
when despair lies in wait

Laugh with me, a single true laugh,
to enlighten another's distress
Cry with me, a single true tear,
to understand true happiness

Cherish my love, the wonders of life,
as they need to be preserved
Rejoice with me, in the mysteries,
of what is yet to be

Find peace with me, in each other's souls,
when the world has gone insane
Find love with me, in each other's hearts,
until this life has been fulfilled

And when the path comes to an end
I hope we can say from within
We've known the beauty of true love,
our love came from within and lasted forever
Like an Endless River…
THE KNOT: CONFESSIONS OF A LOVER
I don’t know how to start but, there was a time when I never believed in love at first sight. But after our first meeting, things have changed. I often find myself thinking about you and seeking excuses to meet you. Well, believe it or not, but the fact is I have fallen in love with you
As the dew drops that fall from sky would give life and freshness to the grass your presence and love has filled my life with new hopes and joy. Your touch resembling the gentle evening breeze soothes my life and took my heart into a comfort zone. Like the rainbow colors your vibrant personality lifts the energy levels of my spirit and helps achieve everything on Earth. Your laughter like the temple bells always tinkles my heart and makes me smile forever.
No words can stand as compliments to your love. I feel like you are God’s perfect creation which I have never felt before. The divine has filled your heart with kindness.
Since the day, I have met you, I know that you are a special person in my life. I feel incomplete without you. I feel stronger when you are around and confident that I can look straight into the world. I think you make me complete. There are many things I wanted to write, but somehow I feel I can’t explain how much I love you. Initially, I was very scared to be in relationship with you. I was confused to be in another relation after the first abusive one. However, as we started spending more time and got to know each other I felt you are the true companion who will always stand by my side. I just want you to remember that I truly love you, and I will be there for you any time…
With lots of love,

LOVER
CIRCADIAN CLOCK IN THE EAR

Important body functions, such as sleep, the immune system, and hormone levels are controlled by a biological circadian clock. A team of researchers at Karolinska Institute have now discovered that there is also a biological clock in the ear, controlled by genes known to regulate circadian rhythms. One of these genes was found to cycle in the cochlea from mice over several days in a pattern that followed the hours of the day.

By measuring the activity of the auditory nerve, the researchers found that mice exposed to moderate noise levels during the night suffered from permanent hearing damages while mice exposed to similar noise levels during the day did not. The ability to heal after hearing damage was therefore linked to the time of day during which the noise damage occurred, and here the ear's circadian clock played an important role.
It is known that the production of the growth hormone, BDNF, Brain-derived neurotrophic factor, known to protect auditory nerve cells, fluctuates throughout the day. When mice were exposed to noise during daytime, their concentration of BDNF in the ear increased, which protected them from permanent hearing damage. This protective response was absent at night time.
However, researchers succeeded in tricking the mice's ear clocks in an experiment where they exposed mice to noise at night while stimulating BDNF at the same time. Mice were then protected from permanent hearing loss as their auditory nerve cells successfully recovered from noise injury.
These exciting new findings about the ear's clock, may explain why we have different levels of noise sensitivity during different times of the day. The findings pave the way for new treatment methods for hearing damage, which affects between 10 and 15 per cent of the population. The results are for example important for shift workers in noisy environments, flight crews that travel quickly across time zones and people visiting concerts and discos with high noise levels.
"This fundamental discovery opens up an entirely new field of research and reveals some of the mysteries behind the unfamiliar auditory functions," says Barbara Canlon, professor of auditory physiology at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Karolinska Institute.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF PSYCHEDELIA…
No Drugs… Just Music
Hemanth Anil

Psychedelic music (Psychedelia) covers a range of popular music styles and genres influenced by psychedelic culture that attempted to replicate or enhance the psychedelic experiences of psychedelic drugs. It emerged during the mid-1960s among folk rock and blues rock bands in the United States and Britain.

Characteristics of psychedelic music include exotic instrumentation, use of complex song structures, key and time signature changes. It uses new recording techniques and effects, drawing on non-Western sources such as the ragas and drones of Indian music. Literary-inspired lyrics containing universal themes and extended instrumental solos, featuring a heavily distorted electric guitar as the main instrument is also a noted characteristic of psychedelia. There is also strong keyboard presence (electronic organs, harpsichords, or the Mellotron) and use of elaborate studio effects. Nowadays forms of electronic psychedelia also employed repetitive computer-generated beats.

Subgenres of psychedelia include Psychedelic Rock, Space Rock, Experimental Rock, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Folk, Neo-psychedelia, Acid House, Trance Music, New Rave, etc.

Psychedelic music takes the listener on a ride that opens his mind and makes him think more. Music has a profound effect on the human psyche — both the brain and the mind. It stimulates the thinking, analytical, and planning parts of the brain, and, the creativity center. It causes the brain to produce feel-good endorphins and chemicals that promote healing.

Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton are some psychedelic rock stars. Pink Floyd is an English rock band who achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music. Distinguished by their use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, extended compositions and elaborate live shows, they are one of the most commercially successful and musically influential groups in the history of psychedelic music.
